Lay,1200 Ridgewood, Arlington,Texas and the groom is theson of Mr. and Mrs. HerbertWarthan of 7508 Trimble, Ft. Worth.Entering on the arm of her father, the bride wore a formal gown of Ivory organza, peau d' ange lace, traced with pearls and crystals defined the empire bodice of the gown which featured a Victorian neckline and long bishop sleeves. Soft gathers accented the dirndl skirt with lace appliques at thehemline. The attached train unfolded to chapel length with lace appliques framing the train. Her veil was fashioned of silk English Illusion andfell In tiers to elbow length froma calot of flowers. In her hand she carried a bouquet of mixed spring flowers.Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Rick Goyne of Cambridge, Mass.; and bridesmaids were Mrs. David Carpenter of Galveston, Mrs. Fred Bunte, Jr. , of Arlington,Miss Becky Backof and MissJane Wood, both of Arlington.The bridesmaids were dressed In lime green and white plaid voile dresses, accented with white collar, cuffs and cumber bunds. They wore “juliette” caps trimmed with white flowers accented with an Illusion veil. They carried nosegays of mixed spring flowers.Attending the bride as flower girl was Miss Shelley Donohue. Itingbearer was Lance Donohue.The groom’s attendants Included Gary Warthan as best man, groomsmen were Bruce Duncan of Avery, Dr. Nell Green of Ft. Worth, Dr. George Speck, Galveston, Dr. George Talley and Dr. Vic I vdav, both of Galveston.Ushers were Dr. Hugh West of Austin and Dr. Tom Dley of Houston.The bride is presently attending the University of Texas at Arlington, graduated from University of Texas Medical Branch with B.S. In Medical Technology, ROTC Battalion Staff Sweetheart, member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.The groom has attended the University of Texas, Austin, in the School of Pharmacy, the Unverslty of Texas Medical Branch, presently dong Internship at Brackenrldge Hospital In Austin.
