Joseph’s Catholic Church.The Rev. James MeMurtrie and the Rev. Boston Lackey Jr., officiated at the double ring ceremony.Robert DeWell, organist, rendered the nuptial music.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full length empire A-line gown of ivory organza veiled over taffeta. The bodice featured a scooped neckline and short scalloped sleeves of Peau D’Ange lace. The A-line skirt was enhanced by an elaborate border of matching lace. The gown was complemented by a detachable lace bordered train. A full length mantilla bordered in matching lace completed her attire. She carried a cascade of gardenias.Mrs. B. Gregory MeNeer of Huntington, West Va, was matron of honor and Miss Jacqueline Rives of Petersburg was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Stanley Clarke of Raleigh, N. C., Mrs. George H. Beckwith of Charlottesville and Mrs. Michael Foedever of Petersburg. They wore full length sleeveless gowns of lime green linen with frog detailing and headpieces of daisies. They carried yellow daisy aeseades.Miss Virginia McNeer was flower girl and R. Gregory McNeer Jr. was ringbearer.Mr, Grossmann served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were R.
