Weds NormanMiss Sandra Jean Becbtojd of Niles became the bride of Norman Leroy Wedell of Santa Cruz in pre-Eeaster cere-'monies read at the_ First ’Baptist 'Church at San Jose by the-'Rev. Clarence R. Sands. ^ The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Bechtold of 320 Walnut Way, Niles, and the benedict, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wedell of Santa Cruz.Given in marriage by Tier father, the bride was wearing a full lenghth white Chantilly lace and tulle over satin wedding gown. Her fitted lace bodice was topped with 'a madarin collar of tulle and embroidered with seed pearls; her long sleeves were ofchan-til'y lace and the bouffant shirt of tulle. Seed pearlsand' rhinestones graced her half crown which held a. finger-tip length veil. A white_ gardenia bouquet centered' with white-orchids was carried'-, by thebride. iCatherine Land of Oakland was- maid of honor in a ballerina length green erystallette over taffeta gown of princessr • Wstyle. .Two ; cousins of the bride, . Ann,and'Mae..Wilson of. Bur-' dingame, were bridesmaids', in dresses-matching the honor-attendant’s , in 'colors - of. yellow and coral. They carried, eas-cade bouquets 'of .gardenias to. match, their gowns. Diane Wedell, •• niece of the groom, of . Santa. Cruz, was flower girl in a dress which also matched the honor attendant’s.The brother of the- bridegroom,' Harry Wedell, Jr., -. of Santa. Cruz, served -as best man .'.as Emerson . Froese, the * benedict’s cousin, of -San-Francisco and Gene Emborg': of San Jose -seated the'''guests.' -A tuvquoisr colored faille and velvet ensemble was. worn by the mother of the bride with white accessories, while the .mother of the bridegroom arrived. at the church .-in- a lime' green dress with pink accessories. Both women -wore orchid/corsages.. 'Baskets of cherry blossoms, calla lilies and baby' breath graced ■ the church, for the candlelight ceremonies.• Following' the exchange _ of wedding vows, a _ reception was held in the social hall of the church and the couple left on • their Southern California honeymoon.They will make their home in'Los Gatos.'
