Saxby, brother of the bride, was master of ceremonies.The bride is the niece of Mrs. Robert Joseph Kerr, of 150 North Elmwood avenue, and daughter of the late Jane Weyburn Saxby. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wainwright B. Gervais, of 160 North Elmwood avenue.A reception at the home of Mrs. Kerr for the family and intimate friends, nine of whom came from Rockford, Illinois, for the wedding, followed the service.The wedding colors of white, green and gold were carried out in the roses, spring flowers and lighted tapers used in the dining room, while spring flowers graced theother rooms.*Mr. and Mrs. Gervais left during the evening for an eastern motor trip and after May i will be at home at 422 Lake street.
