TODD GARRETT.A pretty wedding and one of much interest to a wide circle of friends was solemnized Tuesday evening atI *7:30 o'clock at The Wall-street Metaodist Episcopal church in that of Miss Elsie Chambers and William Todd Garrett. The ceremony was said in the piesenee of a large number of invited guests and others who attended Oiled the church to its capacity.The Rev. William II. Wylie performed the marriage, the double ring ceremony being used. Miss Minnie j Garrett, of Waddy, Ky.. sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor; Miss Edna Neeley and Miss Elizabeth Wil-coxson of this city, were bridesmaids; Chester Ferguson was host man ana the ushers were Asa S. Coomns, Homer Neeley, of this city; Otto Day, of Louisville and Chester Vance, of Smith’s Grove, Ky.The bride entered tlie church onthe arm of her hi other, Arthur Chambers, of Mat toon. 111., by whom she was given in marriage. Just before the binding words were said, a beautiful solo was sung by Miss Josephine Seavo, of 1031 Ivanhoe court. Louisville, “Call Me Thine Own,” accompanied by Mrs. W. W. Clooker on the organ.The pretty bride looked charming in a gown of white crepe de chine, made up with chiffon and pearl ornaments. She wore a veil and carded bride’s roses and sweet peas. The maid of honor was attired in a dress of green taffeta with pink net overdress. The bridesmaids wore gowns o4 pink crepe de chine.The church was beautifully deco-rated for the occasion with palms and ferns. Following the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs, Lida Chambers,* ^508 East Maple street, where a reception was held attended : by relatives and iriends of the cou-| pie where congi atulatlons were showered upon them.Later Mr. and Mis. Garrett left on a wedding trip to Nor!oik, Ya. At that place they will take a steamer tor New York and will then go to other Eastern points to be gone about two weeks. Returning they will stop [at Cincinnati and then go to Waddy,Ky., his home, to visit for a short time with his relatives, in a montn they will go to Indianapolis where they will locate.The principals in the wedding of last night are popular young people of this city. She is a daughter of Mrs. Lida Chambers, her father who was prominent in this city being dead several years. She has made many friends by her sweet and charming manner. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Garrett, of Waddy, Ky. He is a locomotivefireman for the Pittsburg, Cincinnati, Chicago St. Louis Railroad Company, running between Indianapolisand Logansport.Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur R. Chambers, of Mattoon, 111 , brother and sister-in-law of the bride; W. W. Garrett and daughter, father and sister of the bridegroom; Samuel Robinson and family and Claude Fry, all of Waddy, Ky.; Chester Vance, of Smiths Grove. Kv.; John Wilhoyte, of Beard Station, Ky.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Tividen, of Smithfield. Ky.; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Van Pelt, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Eh el in. Mrs. Lillie Miller and Miss Minnie Henry, of Louisville.
