The sister (now Mrs. McBrooui) later learned that the gentleman had given her a wrong name. For this reason she was unable to communicate with her only living relative. The younger sister found a delightful home with her adopted parents. She was married to Mr, S. J. McBrooui, and came to Olla to reside.■The elder sister a few years later went North with a family from that section, and some time afterwards was happily married at Syracuse, N. Y., to Mr. GeorgeMiller, a well-known citizen.Mrs. Miller, with means at her disposal, then began a systematic research for her sister. She advertised far and wide without result. Iiecently she inserted an advertisement in one of the papers published in Winn parish, and this attracted the eye of Mrs. McBroom. Correspondence qnick-ly followed, and Mrs. Miller left her Syracuse home at once for Louisiana. - i
