Wright-Reeves united in marriage on AprilRobin E. Wright, daughter of James and Bobbie Wright of Corbin, and Ricky Wade Reeves, son of Layton Reeves and the late Henrietta Reeves of Corbin, were married April 1, 1988, in the Laurel Room of Quality Inn, Corbin.Rev. Duane Lynch of Louisville performed the ceremony.The maid of honor was Lisa Goins of Corbin. The bridesmaids were Tammy Howard and Cindy Thompson, also of Corbin.Leon McVay of Corbin served as best man and groomsmen were Adam Wright, brother of the bride and Tom Poole.The flower girls were Stacy Reeves, niece of the groom and Erica Trett. The ringbearer was Andy Moses.The ceremony was performed under a brass archway, covered with Lily of the Valley. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white lace full length gown with bodice trimmed in seed pearls. The bride’s veil was created from the headpiece worn by her mother in her own wedding.The bouquets carried by the bride and her attendants were fashioned with the bridal colors of lavender, pink and blue silk tea roses and forget-me-nots against white lace fans.All corsages and bouquets were created by the bride.The maid of honor wore a pink satin southern belle gown trimmed with antique white lace. The bridesmaids wore gowns of lavender and blue.The flowergirls, wearing dresses of pink and lavender, carried baskets trimmed with white lace and scattered petals of pink, lavender and blue forget-me-nots.The bride’s mother was attired in a street-length dress of the bridal colors ana wore a matchingheadpiece.The groom wore a black tuxedo. The groomsmen and father of the bride wore black and gray suits. The ringbearer wore a spn ng suit ofthe bridal colors.Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Laurel Room. The reception table was decorated with a silver chamoagne fountain and a white candleabra complimented with lavender taper candles.The cake was topped with a bride and a groom under an archway of white Lily of the Valley. Punch was served from an antique pedestal punch bowl which had belonged to the bride’s maternal grandparents.The couple honeymooned afPanama City Beach, Fla.MR. AND MRS. RICKY WADE REEVES
