First Christian Church in Bluefield was the setting for the uniting in marrage of Miss Roma Gail Kitts of Bluefield, Va. and David Alex ander Ledgerwood of Bluefield on April 10. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Kitts of Bluefield, Va. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex T. Ledgerwood. Rev. David Cheverton per formed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with baskets of mums and two single yellow roses in memory of the bridegroom's parents. Two candelabras, owned by the bridegroom, were used in the ceremony. Soloist, Henry For tune, sang the prayer. He was accompanied by Doug Sarver. The bride was escorted in marriage by her brother, Bud dy Kitts, and given in mar riage by her family. The bride wore a gown of white imported organza, with a wedding ring neckline of venise lace. The sleeves were also of venise lace. The skirt ended in a long chapel train. She wore a fingertip veil of il lusion made by her grand mother, Mrs. Beulah England. She carried her father’s Bible covered in satin, topped with a bouquet of yellow roses and babies breath. The bride's on ly jewelry was a silver cross necklace, a gift from her mother. Mrs. Charles Kitts Jr., sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Miss Ralana Bowden of Bailey Switch was the bridesmaid. Tamberlee Joyce Jones, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. The at tendants wore matching long dresses in peach tones, and each carried a single yellow rose. Ring bearer was Chuckie Kitts, nephew of the bride. Bob Simmons, Bluefield, Va., was the best man. Ushers were Tony Colabro, Bluefield, and Charles Bailey of Cincin nati, Ohio. The mother of the bride wore a jade green dress with orchid flowered print, with yellow rose corsage. A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. The wedding cake was served by Mrs. Randy Fly and Miss Glenna Mitchem. Punch was served by Miss Randy Fly and Mrs. Brady Eanes. The bride’ book was at tended by Mrs. Ginger Durham. Miss Phyllis Buckland conducted the ar rangements for the wedding ceremony and reception. The bride, a former secretary for Grandview Memorial Gardens, is a senior at Graham High School, and will graduate in June. The bridegroom is a graduate of Bluefield High School and attended Bluefield State College. He is employed by East River Metals in Princeton. The couple will reside on Fincastle Lane, Bluefield. MRS.
