Trap*pBARODA, April 25—Two tall beauty baskets of white snapdragons and pink tinted pompons adorned tiie altar of Trinity Lutheran church, Glendora,when Miss LaVerne Irene Schmaltz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schmaltz. Baroda, was married to LaMar F. Trapp, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Trapp, Baroda, and the late Paul Trapp.Vows were exchanged at 1:20 p. m. Saturday, with Rev. M. J.Michael officiating at the doublering ceremony.Organist was M. C. Mcrz and soloist was Mrs. Bernice Dehr-ing, both of Bridgman.For her gown, the bride chose nylon organza over taffeta. The fitted bodice was styled with a scalloped scoop neckline trimmed with jeweled Alcncon lace and short shirred sleeves and bouffant skirt with matching Alcncon appliques. The back detail was of tiers of ruffles ending in a chapel train. Her crown of pearls held the pure silk illusion veil. She carried white butterfly roses and garlands of hyacinths with streamers of satin pearls.Matron of honor was Mrs. Darlene* Lockwood of Galicn. She wore a ballerina length shrimp colored dress of silk organza with a full skirt of impressed pleats. The fitted bodice featured a drape neckline and cap sleeves. She wore a matching crown headpiece and carried a futurama bouquet of white carnations.Bridesmaids were Mrs. Pauline Longfellow, Miss Myrna Babcock, Galicn, and Mrs. Delores Hildebrand, Berrien Springs. They were attired identically to the matron of honor.Best man was Charles Trapp, Baroda, brother of the groom. Ushers were Robert Gast, Edward Reitz. Emil Loraff, Howard Gaul, and Alan Schmaltz.The bride's mother wore a dress of blue nylon with white accessories, and the groom's mother wore a pink lace dress with white accessories. Both wore white orchids.The reception was held immediately after the ceremony at Baroda Legion hall. Dancing was to Louis Rudlaff’s band. Pink and white colors were used to decorate the hall.A five-tier wedding cake, decorated with white satin bells, was cut by Mrs. Norma Freeh-ling, sister of the bride. Miss Marlene Geikc, niece of the groom, had charge of the gifts, and Miss Judy Schmaltz, sistertiof the bride, was in charge of the guest book.The bride was graduated fromNew Troy high school and is employed at Clark Equipment company, Buchanan. The groom.attended Baroda high school and served two years in the Marine I leCorps. A tiara of sequins and seed pearls held the hand-rolled veil of silk illusion. She carried a cascade of pink sweetheart roses and white carnations.Maid of honor was Miss Ima Boyle. She wore a yellow dress of nylon sheer over taffeta styled with a cummerbund and contrasting yellow bows. She carried a bouquet of white and yellow carnations and wore a picture hat.Bridesmaids were Misses Carol Detwiler and Miss Rosemary Winters, sister of the groom, St. Joseph.
