Dolores Brado Becomes Bride Of Elmer PatzerWedding vows were exchanged at 3 p. m., Saturday in Trinity Lutheran church by Miss Dolores June Brado, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Oscar Brado of 2021 South State st., and Elmer G. Patzer, son of Mr. and Mrs, Albert Patzer, Sr., of 310 Church st.Rev, W. W. Stuenkel, pastor of the church, read the double ring ceremony before the altar graced by two tall vases of white and Picardy gladioli. O. C. Scheerger presided at the organ and Miss Doris Dorow sang, “The Lord’s Prayer” and “O, Perfect Love.” __The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of heirloom satin in antique ivory, styled with a fitted bodice, a full sweeping skirt and long court train. An impressive pearl embroidered bertha was draped around the shoulders and fastened to the sheer mousselme de soi yoke. The sleeves, detached from the gown, were pearl beaded to match the bertha and the tiny pearled scallops almost met the draped bertha at the upper arm. They extended into long points over the wrists. A pearl tiara held her Chantilly lace trimmed finger-tip veil of French illusion. She earned an arm bouquet of calla lilies and stephanotis.Mrs. Brado wore a dress of dustyrose with black and white accessoriesand Mrs. Patzer wore an aqua dressand orange blossoms. She carried mitts, while her tiara was of satin with white accessones. Both wore corsages of glamellias.Reime Patzer. brother of the groom, served as best man. William Frobel and Dick Grau were the groom’s other attendants while Albert Patzer, Jr., and Harry Patzer, brothers, ushered.A dmnei was served at Hassles Steak House for the bndal party. A reception for 250 guests was held at 8 p. m., at Higman Park Villa, Benton Harbor. A foui-tieied wedding cake featured the refreshments. Bud Brado, an uncle of the bride, and his band prouded music Following a week’s wedding trip to Chicago the couple will reside at 312 Church st.Mrs. Patzer is a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph high school and' is employed in the Berrien county probate couit.Mr Patzer was graduated fiom St. Joseph high school, is active in sports and has been employed at Huber’s Jewelry shop for the past four years.-r—- The four ^clock dials of “BigMiss Donna Brado, sister of the Ben,” in the clock tower on thebride, was maid of honor and Ruth Fechner and Elaine Rutherford ‘of Niles were bridesmaids. Their gowns were of slipper satin, the maid of honor wearing spun gold and the bridesmaids, turquoise. They followed the general styling of the bridal gown with off-shoulder effect Tiny ruffles on either side of the full skirts emphasized the wasp waists. All wore elbow-length mitts and heart-shaped bonnets of spun gold with bustle bows tq match their gowns.
