Miss Grace Ellen Mo Hr mess and Walter J. Armstrong, of Des Moines, stole a march on their friends and went to Moline, 111., where the groom has a brother living who with his wife accompanied the happy couple to the,M. E. parsonage on April 5th, where the words were said that made them man and wife. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward McHarness and was born and reared in Leon. She has made her home in Des Moines for the past two years. The groom is a resident of Des Moines, a printer by trade and a young man of good habits. They expect to make their home in Des Moines. May success attend them is the wish of their many friends.
