At the horns of Mr. and Mrs, O. B. Arnold of 2019 University/avenue occurred the'marriage last eyening of their, daughter, Miss. Far, ^ahd 'Mr., Archie L; Krld* ler. Tii© wedding guests were, received' by-Mr. and' Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Laura Kridier. ;the, mother of the grodrn, Th© parlors were beadtifully decorated, with palms, ferng and roses, and fclie '.eere* mony_ took* place beneath a floral um-breH’rmado of bride's roses and ferns. At Srb'elock Miss Bertha, Fear son of In-dfan'ola sang AH 'for You, and to the strains.of Lotiengrin played by Miss Genevieve Weaterman tho bridal party. entered th© east parlor. The rJbbohj'str etchers, the Misses Kathryn Snyder and Maxine Van Meter, came first, gowned -in-pink and, white organdy,. stretching th© pink and white ribbons from* the stairway. Following came little Kathryn Van Meter carrying -the ring In* a lily* Miss Lennos Butler ..of Cedar Rapids,’as maid of honor, gowned in white organdy draped over pink, preceded the bride, who was escorted by her father. Miss Arnold was gowned in French batiste with trimmings-of Valenciennes lace and carried a' shower bouquet of roses and HUes* of the valley .■ .Th© bridal party was met at the altar by the groom and his best man, Mr. Olarenco Arpold, brother of th© bride. Th© Bev. O. W. Fifer of-Grace* Methodist church performed the ceremony, using the full ring service. Following th© hearty’congratulations the guests repaired to the dining room where refreshments were served. The color scheme of pjnk. and. white was carried out, the table being beautifully decorated In pink-shaded candles and- carnations. The\parlor and dining room assistants were,Mrs. A B. Henry,‘Mrs! W. H- Arnold. Mrk*{Frank Moorehouse,-Mrs. Jennie McCalrarmt and th©'Misses .Mary McHenry, Marie L«©* Florence Durand arid Rica Findley. Miss Arnold is well Known in.th© city, being prominent In.' musical circles. Sha Js a graduato orthe East High school and has for the pastUwo years been singing in the ladies’ .quartet of the Midland Lyceum bureau. Mr. Krldlar is th© assistant manager of the International Lumber company of Mobile. Mr, and Mrs. Kridier expect to leave .the city soon to make' their home In Mobile, Ala. ■One of the largest card parties of the week was given- yesterday afternoon by Mrs. J. P. Morey at her home on Twenty-first street in honor of her sister, Mrs. Samue!. McFarland of. Chicago, and her daughter,’ Mrs.1 Gamble, 'of Jeffersom.Th© afternoon devoted .'to the game of euchre and'three prizes wore awarded to those bolding the highest scores.
