Emery to « Miss Maggie Ewart. The happy couple had been to Chicago on a wedding tour, and when they returned to their homo at Mr. Emery’s they found a large crowd of their friends, numbering over fifty, from Victoria, together with the Victoria brass band. They had all come to help them make merry over this joyful occasion. The bride was attired in pale blue anto-man silk, very elegantly trimmed with white Spanish lace, white kid gloves and slippers, dowers, lillics of the valley. The groom was dressed in the psual style, black, with white kid gloves. '“•After receiving the congratulations of their many friends, the company retired to the dining room where a sumptuous supper was prepared by Mrs. Emery and her daughter, Mrs. Eox.Jfo which every one was invited to partake This supper consisted of everything that was good to cat, to which all did ample justice. We cnu’t help but congratulate Mr. Emery in his good choice in selecting the amiable and accomplished Miss Maggie to share his joys and sorrows through life, and hope as year after year rolls round they can always, witli pleas, ure, revert to the happy day when they two were made man and wife.E.
