The ‘Royal familyand the witnesses having placed themselves round a rimalari tihlr Biroa Pasquierf the-Chancellor of France, who filled the functions of the civil office, assisted by the Ddke de Cazes, tbe Grand Referendary, and M. C.anchy, thp Keeper of the Archives of the Chamber of Peers, read aloud the Marriage Act, and, after receiving frojn, Prince Augustus and the Princess Clementine the declaration required by the 75th article of the Civil Cqde,-declared, in the name of the law, that the Prince and Princess were united in mamage. The signature oftfche act then took place. The august couple, their Majesties, the Princes and Princesses, and tbe witnesses, respectively signed it. The act was closed by the Marshal President of the Council, the Keeper of the Seals, and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, by the Chancellor, and the Grand Referendary.
