Nancy Piazza Lovely Bride of Edwin OlsonONE of the prominent weddings of the spring season was solemnized in Lakewood Village Church recently in the presence of many guests when Miss Nancy Carolyn Piazza, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Piazza of 4608 Hazel-brook Ave., became the bride of Edwin T. Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs, Edwin A. Olson of 2035 Euclid Ave.The bride was attractive in a$ hand clipped imported Chantilly lace gown over white slipper satin fashioned entrain. Her finger-tip-lengtli veil was attached to a halo headdress and she carried a white prayer book onwhich rested two white orchids tied with sprays of bouvardia. John David Piazza, brother of the bride, served as ring, bearer.Gerri Kazan, maid of honor, was in a violet colored organdy gown trimmed with matching taffeta and a halo of pastel sweet peas over violet tulle. She carried orchid cymbidiums tied with violet satin streamer. Bridesmaids Patty Camm, Valli Roskie, Carol Lovell and Irene Kixon were in green net over satin, pink lace and organdy, blue organdy over satin and peach tulle over satin, respectively. They carried white tulle parasols with cascades of pink carnations and halos of sweet peas in their hair.marriage and Rev, W. R. Hall performed the marriage ceremony. Jack K. Vial served as best man while the more than 300 guests were seated prior to the vow exchange by Donald Siago, Oliver Brown, Richard and Sam Piazza and Ray Bach.Hostesses at the reception in the church were Mmes. Harry Suiter, Jack Horner, Clark Wals-worth and Joseph Piazza. A large wedding cake adorned With doves and bells and centered with a miniature bride and bridegroom was surrounded by gardenias, fern and bouvardia on the serving table. Afterwards, the guests visited the bride's home to see the wedding gifts which were displayed on long tables.The bride’s wedding day was also the wedding anniversary of her parents. The couple is honey-Valerie Green preceded the, mooning at Laguna Beach, bride to the altar as flower girl.i The former Miss Piazza at-Mr. Piazza gave his daughter in tended Wilson High School.
