Shower HonorsThe home of Mrs. PeteReimer was the scene of a surprise bridal shower on Saturday, April 17, in honor of Mrs. Cass Mechor (nee Frances Schweitz) of Calgary, Alta.The room was tastefully decorated with white bells andstreamers.The guest of honor, hermother, Mrs. Herman Schweitz, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Bob Schweitz, were escorted to their chairs and presented with corsages.Mrs. Doreen Wiebe read an original and appropriate poem addressed to the honored guest.After an enjoyable time of playing games and contests, I Mary Lou Reimer, dressed as a mock bride, brought in the gifts to the tune of the WeddingMarch.After the gifts had been admired by approximately *20 guests, Frances graciously thanked her friends.The evening concluded with a dainty lunch served by Mary Reimer, Marion Frank, Elsie Shaw, Chris MacDonald and Mary Larson,
