Men-ix.The Rev. J. Arthur Rebbcr, pastor, read the twin ring vows.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jones, Star Route. Ackerly, and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Menbc are the parents of the bridegroom.Joyce Huse was organist for a program of wedding music.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street length bridal dress of lace over satin styled with rounded neckline and bracelet length sleeves. On a white Bible she carried a single pink orchid.Attendants To BrideThe maid of honor was her sister, Eunice Jones. Bridesmaids were Fern Menix, the bridegroom’s sister, Jeannine Cauble and Janice Bearden, all of Ackerly. They were attired in identical pink sheath dresses and their flowers were white carnations.Weldon Menix was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Ben Huse and Ervin Conrad. Brownfield. Groomsmen were Phil Wallace and Gibby Ingram, both of Ackerly and Wilbert Menix.The wedding reception was held In Parish Hall of the church. Guests were received by the newlyweds and their parents.Members of the houseparty were Nelda Colvin, O’Donnell; Vicky Menix, and Mrs. Arnold Kenney of Big Spring, sister of the bridegroom. The tiered wedding cake was baked and decorated by another of his sisters, Mrs. Ben Huse.For traveling, the bride selected a blue linen suit with white accessories. Upon their return from the wedding trip, the bride will complete her Junior year at Ackerly High School, and will then join her husband, who is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He is a 1958 graduate of Ackerly High School.21v(
