N. R. Okerlund officiating.Preceding the ceremony, Miss Lillian Kiewiet sang “I Love You Truly.”The bride met the groom at the altar. She wore a white satin dress with a train and a finger-tip veil and carried a bouquet of white cola lillies.Ada Vaagen, the maid of honor, wore a blue sheer formal and carried a bouquet of sweet peas.Ruth Edwards, bridesmaid, wore a pink sheer formal and carried a bouquet of sweet peas.Merle Edwards and Maynard Burkhow acted as bestmen. Both were dressed in dark suits and white carnation boutonnieres.Following the ceremony Miss Kiewiet sang “Because.”On leaving the church, the guests proceeded to the church parlors where a tray lunch was served. The parlor was beautifully decorated in pink and white, and the bride’s table was graced with three-tier pink and white wedding cake with a miniature bride and groom.
