Paugh-CA double-ring ceremony at the First Lutheran Church on April 8 united in marriage Vickie Lynne Paugh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Paugh, of Havre, and Richard M. O’Leary, son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. O'Leary of Havre.The Rev. Rodney A. Kvamme and the Rev. George S. Dahl-quist, S.J., officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. Soloist Warren Childs of Box Elder sang “The Wedding Prayer” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Organist was Mrs. Donna Ellison.The church was decorated with cathedral baskets of yellow, pink and blue gladioli, keynoting the matching centerpiece on the altar. White satin bows marked the pews.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of satapeau with venise ribbon-lace forming an empire bodice, high collar and cuffs of the camelot sleeves. Her detachable chapel train dropped from a bow at the back waistline. Lace and small bows caught her elbow-length veil of illusion, and she carried a cascade of white daisies and baby breath.The matron of honor was Mrs. Cathy Bachini, and the bridesmaid was Sonia Christensen, cousin of the bride. Niki Clark was flower girl.Bridal attendants wore floor-colors of yellow, blue and pink with matching hairbows and pearl chokers. They carried colonial bouquets to match their gowns, fashioned by Mrs. Albert Christensen, aunt of the bride, The flower girl’s dress was made by Mrs. Robert Clark.Serving as best man was Bob O’Leary of Havre, brother of the bridegroom Richard J. Paugh of San Francisco, Calif, was groomsman, and Michael Bachini, the ring bearer. Ushers were Johnny Jay O’Leary, brother of the bridegroom, and Jim Christensen, cousin of the bride.The mother of the bride wore e a pink two-piece knit dress with d hot pink accessories, and the mother of the bridegroom, a n blue two-piece knit with black r accessories. Both had corsages d of white daisies and baby pink s roses. Mrs. Milton Cox, grand-» mother of the bridegroom, wore e a two-piece green dress with • black accessories and a green carnation corsage.g At the reception which fol-* lowed in the church parlors,the d wedding cake baked and decorated by Mrs. Clarence Ander-B son was cut by Mrs. Anderson and served by Mrs. James W. Christensen of Kalispell, aunt of the bride. Others assisting n in special capacities included a Mrs. Otto Wall, Box Elder;Mrs. Edwin Sapp, Great Falls; a Mrs. Walter Monson, Big Sandy; Marit Christensen, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Ed Williams, Mrs. Toni English, Mrs. ' Herb Hanson and Mrs. Alta* Matter, all of Havre.Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. James W. Christensen, uncle and aunt of the bride, from Kalispell; Richard J. Paugh, brother of the bride, from San Francisco, and other relatives and friends of the couple from Helena, Great Falls, Big Sandy, Box Elder, Billings, Lewistown, Chinook and Harlem.Mr. and Mrs. O’Leary, parents of the bridegroom, entertained at a rehearsal dinner at their home on the eve of the wedding. The bride was honored in the weeks preceding her wedding with miscellaneous showers given by Mrs. John Haas, Mrs. Clarence Frey, Mrs. John Paugh and Mrs. Kenneth Bachini.A graduate of Havre High School, the bride is employed at R.B.M. Titan Electronics. The bridegroom, a graduate of Havre Central High School, is employed at the U.S. Post Office.Following their wedding trip to Medicine Hat, Alta., the couple will be making their home at 300 14th Ave., Havre.
