Saturday, April 9.The single ring ceremony was read at Benton with Justice of tbe Peace'Charles BlockJey officiating. A reception was held afterward at the home of the bridegroom’s grandmother, Mrs. Eliza Easley in Benton.For the ceremony the bride wore a daytime frock of beige and brown linen and a corsage of yellow roses. Tier matron of honor, Mrs. Wayne Stocks, thebridegroom’s sister, selected a frock of royal blue taffeta. Her flowers were white carnations.The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Helen Conner of Benton and Louis Conner of ML Vernon, had (he brother of the bride, Erman YV. Stratton, Oak Lawn, as his best man.Mrs. Hanson Carney and Mrs. Erman W, Stratton served the guests who attended the reception. The bride’s mother chose a frock of white nylon and blue linen and the bridegroom's mother wore a rose crepe frock,The newly married couple will live in Oak Lawn. The Stratton family, until two months ago, de-sided in Ina.
