Kent, Main street, and Edward Kverett Prest, son of Mr. and MTs. William Prest, Prospect street, Watertown^ were united-in-marriage^P The double ring ceremony was per- j . formed by the Rev. Daniel A. McCabe, pastor, before an altar decorated with Easter lilies, hyacinths and other seasonal blooms.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with a lace yoke trimmed with seed pearls. Her fingertip veil of illusion, with a border of narrow lace, fell from a crown of seed pearls, and she car-ried a mother of pearl prayer book set with a white orchid.The matron*of honor, Mrs. Gloria Madden, cousin of the bride, wore a rose taffeta gown and headpiece of net trimmed with rose colored flowers. She carried a bouquet of assorted flowers. The flower girl, Miss Marlene Kent, the bride’s sister, wore an aqua gown and matching headpiece trimmed with pink rosebuds, and she carried an old fashioned bouquet Warren J. Yeager of Somerville, cousin of the bride, was thp ring hearer.- -He wore a miniatur£-_drcss_ suit and carried a white satin pillow, bearing the two rings. David Prest, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. The ushers were Donald L. Kent and Francis ‘Prendergast of WatertownFor her daqghter’s wedding, Mrs. Kent wore a fuchsia gown with navy blue accessories and had a cprsage of white roses and sweet peas. The mother of the bridegroom wore an aqua gown and gray coat with black accessories and had a corsage of talisman roses and sweetpeas.The soloist at the church was Mrs. Wyenock of Ipswich who sang “The Prayer Perfect,” and Gounod’s “Ave Maria.” Mrs Edward F. MacDonald was organist.A reception was held following the ceremony in Rowley Town hall, Where guests were present from communities in this state, Connecticut and 2, Maine.s I The bride attended local schools and was graduated from Newbury-port High school with the class of 1948. The bridegroom attended school in Port Chester, N. Y He is a veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Corps for three years. The couple will go on a honeymoon trip through the Southern states
