' . - ^ vr *Davis-Dunivan vows taken by candlelightThe sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church was the setting for the double ring, candlelight ceremony uniting Donna Davis and Randy Dunivan in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, with the Rev. James J. Spurlin officiating.Tall tapers in floor candelabra illumined the altar which was adorned with a memory candle and the Davis family Bible and flanked by baskets of white gladioli and pink-tipped mums. The win- dows were decorated with' white tapers and globes encircled with rings of greenery ' which were used at the wedding of the bride's brother, Ron 3 Davis.3 Mrs. Joe Baker was the - organist, playing “More,”\ “Hawaiian Wedding Song and| “The Lord’s Prayer, in ad-sj dition to the traditional wed's ding marches.The bride, given in marriage by her mother and father, wore a floor-length gown of white satin and silk organza, with an A-line skirt which ended in a sweeping chapel train. The gown was designed with an empire waist, long lantern sleeves and scooped neckline, and was accented with re-“lantern sleeves, and headpieces of short tiered veils held by hot pink bows. Each carried while tapered randies with short cascades of pink-tipped pompons and daisies.As flower girl. Jill Holmes wore a dress identical to the bridesmaids, with hoi pink bow arid ribbon streamers for her headpiece. She carried a while basket of pink-tipped pompons and daisies.Paul Dunivan, brother of the groom, and Todd Davis, nephew of the bride, were ring bearers.Guy Dunivan served as his son’s best man. Allen Smith and Lewis Jenkins were groomsmen, and Neil Mullins. Terry Clear and Pat Greeman were ushers.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Kermit Davis chose a beige ribbon lacc dress and matching accessories, with a corsage of pink carnations. Mrs. Guy Dunivan, the groom's mother, wore an aqua crepe and lace dress with matching accessories, and a corsage Df white carnations.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Holiday Inn.
