PEARSON-CLARK NUPTIALS IN SCOTT DALECHURCH—Donna Rae Clark and William D. Pearson were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in Trinity United Methodist Church, Seottdale. Officiating for the double ring ceremony were the host pastor, the Rev. Ralph Shipley, and the Rev. Wiliiam P. Donahue, assistant pastor of St. John the Baptist R. C. Church, Seottdale.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Clark of 208 Delaware Ave., Seottdale. Mr. Pearson is the son of I Mrs. Alex Walchesky of Vanderbilt. R. D. 1, and the late ! Donald Pearson. ,Mrs. Millard Hess, church organist, presented the fol- • lowing wedding numbers: ‘“Nuptial Song/1 by Siegel: “Savior j Like a Shepherd Lead Us/’ “Andante Sostenuto” by Brahms; j “Rejoice Greatly, 0 My Soul” by Lovelace; prelude from j Wagner’s “Tristan and Isolde.” “Bridal Song by Jensen; j “Alleluia’ by Mozart, and “0 Perfect Lo^e.” Mrs. Hess also played the traditional wedding marches.White gladioli decorated the church altar. The pews were marked with white satin bows. --*■ Given in marriage bv her fa-'j ■»ther. the bride wore a floor-iength gown of white Chantilly .acc. featuring a front panel of I white satin. The empire bodice of lace was designed with a lugh Victorian collar and bishop sleeves. The A-line skirt terminated in a chapel-lengtii tram. Trimming the bodice and sleeves were iridescent sequins. Over her hair and extending in a chapeiJength tram was a mantilla of illusion, bordered with Chantilly lace. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of whits carnations and yellow sweetheart roses with baker fern.Miss Denise Clark, sister of die bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Sharon Grosser and Miss Sharon Clark, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Audra HalfhiU. another cousin cf the bride. They all wore fioor-Iength gowns of chiffon over taffeta, the neckline and cuffs of their long sleeves edged with white venisp lac#* The honor maid’s and flower girl’s gowns were of nile green,; while the bridesmaids wore bellow. They wore matching headpieces. All carried cascade bouquets of green, yellow and | coral shade carnations and yellow daisies.Peter Bianehi, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.The bridegroom asked his brother, Donald Pearson of Vanderbilt, to serve as his best man. Ushers were Perry Clark Jr., brother of the bride, and George Sovems. cousin of the bridegroom./Mrs. Clark chose for the wedding of her daughter an aqua polyester knit dress with matching accessories. Mrs. Walchesky. mother of the bridegroom, appeared in an apricot taffeta coat-dress with beige accessories. Both wore white carnation corsages.Supplementing the ceremony was a reception for two hun-! dred guests at the Connellsville Township Fire Hall, hosted by j parents of the bride.I _ The newlyweds are now liv-;ing at Connellsville, R. D. 1,; Mrs. Pearson was graduated from Southmoreland High School with Class of 1970 and is now employed as a bookkeeper by the% First National Bank at Seottdale.The bridegroom was graduated from Connellsville Area!
