Miss L*aa rreiberg, Mr. Henry Rosenthal. ot Ciuoinnati, and Mr. E. iieitinun, of WabaBh.ALLRX-BDKN.The marriage of Miss Katharine MayEden. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Eden, and Mr. Samuel Simmons Allen, of Chicago, took place last evening at the family residence, No. 871 North Tenneseeostreet. Rev. D. K. Lucas, of the Central Christian Church, performod the ceremony in the presence of the relatives and a ffew of the more intimate friends. Mins Grace Duvall played the wedding marchas the conple entered the parlor and stood beneath the arch between the parlors The bride wore a dainty gown of white Indiasilk, trimmed wtth heliotrope, and the lace bertha wangarnitnred with Bride roses. She also carried a bouquet of liride roses. Therooms were very tastefully adorned for theoccasion. Palms and flowers filled the lireplaces and mantels, and palms were groupedin the corners of the rooms. The arch wasdraped with smilax »nd white roses, and palms on either side rose nearly to the ceiling. The frame of the arch was a very effective one for the bride and groom. After the ceremony an 1 congratulations refreshments were served in the parlors. Mr. andMrs. Allen left last night for Chicago to reside. They received many handsome gifts from friends in this and other cities. The bride has been one of ttoe city's best-known readers, and for the past season has been traveling with a theatrical company. Among the gneste at the wedding wefe the groom s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Allen, of Colfax. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Iehstn. of Mason. 111., and Mr. Whitney Bennington, of Syracuse. N.
