Miss Mary Herbert and Sheldon Hoeing were married at 10 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.Father Michael Bradley officiated at the double-ring ceremony. On the altar were bouquets of white and blue mums, palms and two seven-branch candelabra. Pews were marked with white satin bows.Organ music was bridal hyms, “Ave Maria,” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”Mr. and Mrs. Gust Herbert, R. 4, are the parents of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoeing, R. 1, Milroy, are the groom’s parents.The bride chose a gown of silk peau trimmed with re-em-broidered Alencon lace, accented with pearls and sequins. The scooped neckline was centered with a lace scallop. The long sleeves came to bridal points over the hands. The scissor pleated A-line skirt front swept into a chapel train in back and was highlighted with a large bow. Her finger-tip veil was held in place with a delicate tiara of sequins and pearls. Her jewelry was a diamond necklace, a gift of the groom. She carried a cascade of pink and white swreetheat roses.Miss Carolyn Herbert, sister of the bride, w'as maid of honor. Miss Jeannie Herbert, sister of the bride and Mrs. James Koors, sister of the groom, were bridal attendants. They wore powder blue satin gowns with scooped necklines, short sleeves and gathered bodices with a satin bow accenting the back. Matching pillbox headpieces held their short veils. Matching satin shoes completed their attire. Each attendant carried a nosegay of wrhite and blue carnations with matching streamers. They wjore pearl necklaces and earrings, gifts of the bride.Kathy Carr, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a powder blue gown, identicalto the bridal attendants. She had a matching headpiece and car-ried a basket of white and blue carnations with matching ■ streamers. Her jewelry was a lt;small gold cross, gift of the bride. They will reside at 803 North Morgan Street.The bride attended Rushville High School and is presently employed at Dedden’s Bakery. The bridegroom attended Sandusky High School and is employed at General Electric at Shelbyville.Guests were present from Indianapolis, Milroy, Connersville, Hamburg, Oldenburg, Batesville, Greensburg, Sunman and Rushville, and Iowa.
