Dillon- Wogan Marriage Vows Read In Union4MR. MRS. LYNN WOGANIn a 7:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony Sunday evening at the Church of Christ, Marjorie Leone Dillon of Union became the bride of Al/C Lynn L. Wogan, son of Mr, and. Mrs. Harry Wogan also of Union.The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Paul Enabnit under an arch of ferns, potted palms, carnations, snapdragons and jonquils. Mrs. Edwin Biers-bora accompanied Kathryn Packer, who sang “I Love You Truly” and “The Wedding Prayer”. The bride was given away by her father. Candles were lighted by Kathy Biersborn and Vinton Wogan, jr.The bride wore a formal of lace over satin with a scalloped neck line, a finger tip veil and net mitts. She carried pink sweetheart roses on a white Bible. Her maid of honor, Irene Heltibridle wore a yellow net formal and her flowers were light green carnations. The bridesmaids, Mrs. Merle Duffy and Patricia Dillon, sisters of the bride wore identical green net gowns and carried bouquets of yellow carnations. Linda Duffy was flower girl and Jane Enabnit and Michael Chamness carried the rings on white satin heart shaped pillows,Vinton Wogan served his brother as best man and Dale Carter and Darrel Wogan were ushers.The bride’s mother wore a street length navy blue dress with white accessories, and the bridegroom's mother wore a tan suit with beige accessories and their corsages were pink sweetheart roses.A reception for 150 guests was held in the church parlors with a color scheme of mint and yellow carried out in decorations and refreshments. The bridal bouquets were used to decorate the bride’s table. The wedding cake was topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom and was cut in the traditional manner after which Mrs. Paul Glen-noy cut and served the eakc. Mrs. Paul Enabnit and Mrs. Vinton Wogan poured. Mrs, James Donaldson was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Deane Groeneveld and Mrs. Eugene Jones arranged the gifts. Waitresses were Mrs. Franklin Humpherys, Mrs. Charles Haywood, Mrs, Betty Lychemen, Mrs. Gone Collins, Mrs. Harold Vaux, Mrs. Ray Wirth and Mrs. Marlyn Drury.After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Wogan will be at home in Saiina, Kan. The bride's going away dress was powder blue with flecks of white and she wore an orchid. The bride is a graduate of the Union high school and the bridegroom from the Green Mountain school.
