The ceremony was performed in Woman’s Memorial Lutheran church, with the Rev. Charles G. Tusing, pastor, officiating, using the ring ceremony.The bride wore a gray pin-stripped suit, black accessories and a corsage of red roses.Only a few close friends attended the wedding.The bride is a graduate of Pulaski high school and the bridegroom graduated ffrom Shawsville high school.Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Sowder left on a short bridal trip after which they will reside in Shawsville. *-The official flower of the District of Columbia is the American Beauty rose.
