MISS E. MOTLEY IS BRIDE OF R. L. LAXTONCeremony Performed February 21 by The Rev. T. F. MullensThe marriage of Miss Estelle Irene Motley, of Pineville, to Roby L. Laxton, also of Pineville, has been announced by the bride’s father, Richard W. Motley, of Affinity. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Laxton, of Pineville.The ceremony occurred at 4:30 p. m., February 21, 1942, by the Rev. T. F. Mullens, of Welch, in the bride’s home at Pineville.Mrs. Laxton attended Mullens schools and work* at Pineville as a steamstress. The groom is now employed at Pineville by the Virginian Railway Company.
