Cole, Jr. son of Mrs. Alvin A. Cole of Bingham Canyon,Thursday evening, April 11, at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Huoy J. Price, S450 Adams Ave., Og den, Utah, Bishop Thomas Parker, Jr. of Ogden Ly, D8. 14th Ward of ficiating. Miss Melba Read of Og den was bridesmaid, Mr. Walter Har ris of Bingham acting as best man, Mrs. Price entertained in the after noon, so in the evening of April 3, for her sister. After a short stay in Ogden the young couple are at home at the Hotel Knight apartments, Dingham Can yon, Copperfield Bridge Club Meets Mr. and Mrs. Bud Nichols were genial hosts to their evening bridge club at their home in Copperfield Sat urday evening. ‘two tables of auction bridge were in play, Mrs. Mart Jen* sen and Mr. Franccis Quinn playing high for the evening. A delicious luncheon was served to Mr. and Mrs. ‘Jay Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Mart Jensen, and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Quinn by the hosts, Fire Auxiliary No, Two The Ladies Fire Auxiliary No, held their regular meeting at their fire hall Monday evening. Following the business meeting, a social hour was enjoyed by the members. Several games of contract bridge were played with Mrs. ‘ory ‘Mobinson and Mrs Vern Faddis playing high, Moers, ‘Com Masters was hostess for the evening and served delicious refreshments. Relief Society Meets The regular meeting of the Bing ham L. D. 8, Relief Society was held at the ward meeting house, Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Othel Richards was in charge of the literary lesson which was very much enjoyed by the mem bers. Next week's lesson will be in charge of Mrs. Jane Spendlove, her topic being, “Social Service,” the Midvale American. Legion Auxiliary Card Party A beautiful arranged luncheon and card party was given by the Ameri can Legion Auxiliary of Midvale Sat urday afternoon. Members from the Bingham Unit attending were Mrs. Mike Brisk, Mrs. Art Sorenson, Mrs, Theo Chesler, Mrs, Howard Barrows, and Mrs. Francis Quinn, Ti. Just A Mere Club Mrs. Charles Cary was hostess to the Just A Mere club at her home last Saturday afternoon. A delicious one o'clock luncheon was served to eight guests. Following the luncheon, bridge was played, and high score prizes were won by Mrs. Jack David son and Mrs. Hebe Nichols while con solation was awarded to Mrs. Florie mith. Mrs. Monte Cosgrove of Cop perton will be hostess to the club on the 24th. “Five Hundred Party” The Evening Card club met at the home of Mrs. Jack Davidson Friday evening of last week. ‘Five Eundred! won the main diversion with prizes for high score going to Mrs. Charles Cary and Mrs. Ed Shaw. Following the card game a delectable luncheout was served to Mrs. Jean Millner, Mrs. Dell Prigmore, Mrs. Ida Mugfar, Sirs Fred Hahn, Mrs. Louis Andreason, Mrs. Charles Cary, and Mrs.Ed Shaw. Mrs. Hahn Hostess Mrs. Fred Hahn was hostess to her “Five Hundred” card club at her home Monday evening. Mrs. Charles Cary played high for the evening and Mrs. Will Mayne played second high. Follow ing the business meeting a shower was held in honor of Mrs. John Pan talone, a member of the Auxiliary. Many beautiful gifts were received by Mrs. Pantalone. Several games of “five hundred” were played, with high score awards going to Mrs. Rheta Scott and Mrs. Helen Cunliffe. A committee composed of Mrs. Flossie Anderson, Mrs. Bernice Foster, Mrs. Aileene Tyson and Mrs. Gladys Quimn served delicious refreshments to twen ty-four members. Ladies Democratic Study Group Meeting The Bingham ladies Democratic study group held their regular meet ing at the home of Mrs. L. ©. Kruse in the Store apartments, Wednesday evening. A very interesting program was given. Talks were given by Alb red Jensen, member of the state house of representatives, who dis cussed labor and farmer problems; Mr. Warner and Mr. Heber Nichols. A luncheon was served by the hostess, at the close of the evening. Mrs. Christenson Hostess Twenty ladies were the guests of Mrs. Vaughn Christenson at an at tractively arranged difimct party at Sturm’s Cafe, Wednesday evening. After the business was dispatched, a social bout was enjoyed. Several games of “100” were played, Mrs. Pete Smith won first, Miss Sophia Loverich second, and consolation went to Mrs. Marcus Lombardi and Mrs. Herbert Gust. A delicious luncheon was served to the members by Mrs. Kinneaman, Club Foursome Mrs. J. J. Doyle entertained one table at bridge at her home Monday evening, Mrs. Jack Davidson and Mrs. John Doyle played high for the evening. Mrs. Doyle served a delici ous luncheon late in the evening. Birthday Honored Nineteen Girl Scouts of Troop No. 4] gave a surprise party in honor of one of their members, Miss Melba Neridin’s, fifteenth birthday anniver sary.
