EMILY BENSON MARRIED TO KENNETH KRUMMMiss Emily Benson, daughter of Mrs. Gus Benson of bucklin, and Mr. Kenneth Krumm of Sumner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Krumm of Decorah, Iowa, were married Saturday afternoon, April 12, at 4:30. The wedding took place at the home of the bride’smother.The ceiemony was performed by the Rev. Fred Stein, pastor of St. (John’s Lutheran church of Chilli-cothe. Tull white candles and a boquet of pink and white snapdragons with a fern on each side, formed the background. Preceding the ceremony, Miss Georgianna Veight sang “Oh Promise Me.” Mrs. Stein playedthe wedding march.The bride wore navy blue with a corsage of pink rosebuds and white carnations. The bride’s sister, Miss Ann Benson, and the groom’s sister, Miss Ruth Krumm, were her attendants. Miss Benson wore powder blue and Miss Krumm wore dusty rose. Their corsages were of pale pink carnations. Mr. Rucker Hayward of Sumner acted as best man.Following the ceremony the wedding cake, ice cream, and coffee were served to the guests.Those present at the wedding were: Mrs. L. G. Krumm of Decorah, Iowa; Miss Ruth Krumm of Cherokee, Iowa; the Rev. and Mrs. Fred Stein and children, ^nd Miss Georgianna Veight of Chillicothe; Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Longly, Rucker Hayward, and C. E. Harness of Sumner; Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Maddox of Denver, Colo.; M ss Ann Benson of Anchorage, Alaska; and Mrs. Gus Benson, Miss Ruth Benson, Carl Benson, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson, Gerald Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Amen, and Clifford Borron of Bucklin.Before her marriage Mrs. Krumm was employed as a stenographer with the Soil Conservation service and was located in Chillicothe until her resignation last January. Mr. Krumm is employed as manager of the Federal Game refuge near Sumner, where the couple will make their home.
