FOUNTAIN — Aspen Grove Free Will Baptist Church was the setting for the wedding Sunday afternoon, April 6, of Miss Sonja Marion Reinhardt to William Linwood Stroud. The Rev. Hubert Burress of ficiated. Mr. and Mrs. Hans Reinhardt of Schotten, Ger many are parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Linwood W. Stroud of Rt. 1, Fountain. Representing her parents, the bride's brother-in-law, Tom Gasper, gave her in mar riage. For her wedding the bride chose a long white satin dress. Overlaid with lace, the bodice of the gown was fashioned with an empire waistline and long lace sleeves. Her full-length lace train was attached in the back at the shoulders. With it she wore an illusion veil which fell from a crown-style headpiece of pearls. She carried a bou quet of miniature carnations, roses and baby’s breath. Mrs. Jutte Gasper of Hart ford, Conn., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a dress of mint green dotted Swiss over taffeta, a green hat with ribbon trim, and carried three carnations in yellow, green and white. Miss Pamela Jean Stroud of Rt. 1, Fountain, sister of the bridegroom and bridesmaid, wore a similar yellow dress and hat and carried identical flowers. Mr. Stroud was his son’s best man. Ushers were Neil Stroud, brother of the bridegroom, Gary Owens, cousin of the bridegroom, and Kenneth Windham, all of Rt. 1, Foun tain. Michael Stroud, brother of the bridegroom, was junior usher, and Tommy Gasper, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. Miss Janet Smith was organist and Miss Smith and Chris Pennell were vocalists. Following the ceremony, the bridegroom’s parents enter tained approximately 60 guests at a reception in the fellowship building of the church. Mrs. Stroud received her high school and college education in Germany. Her husband was graduated from Saratoga Central High School and served three years in the U.S. Army, stationed two and a half years in Germany. He is a member of the Sims Police Department. The couple will reside at Rt. 1, Sims. THE ENGAGEMENT of Miss Avalean Lynch of Rt. 1, Wilson to Robert Earl Faison of Wilson is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lynch of Rt. 1, Wilson. Parents of the bridegroom-elect are Mr. and Mrs. James Faison of this city. A June 14 wedding will take place in Sandy Fork Baptist Church in Wilson County.
