Neese, Burlington, matron of honor; Sally Hoelzen, Mrs. Michael Bowen and Dawn Char-bonneaux, all of Burlington, bridesmaids. Flower girls were Amy Hoelzen and Laura Hoelzen.The bridegroom was attended by Michael Vavra, Tama, best man; David Hoelzen, Michael Bowen and Gregory Hoelzen, all of Burlington, and Mick Len-hart, Tama, groomsmen. Ushers were Gregory Hoelzen and David Hoelzen. i Mrs. Rosemary Douglas wasThe bride wore a floor-length, white voile gown trimmed with Venise lace and satin ribbon. The gown featured an illusion neckline, full bishop sleeves, an empire waistline and a demi-bell skirt. Her mantilla veil flowed from a camelot cap and was edged in lace to match that on her gown. She carried a continental cluster of carnations matching the color of her attendants’ dresses.Each attendant wore a white picture hat with satin ribbon. Their floor-length gowns of sheer dotted swiss were in rainbow colors. The dresses featured an empire waistline, bishop sleeves and stand-up collar. Each attendant carried a single carnation to match her dress.Hostesses at the reception in the church hall were Mrs. Ted Combs, Johstown, N.J.; Marcia Rettenmaier, Iowa City; Mrs. Michael Vavra, Lisa Abbott, and Karen Kopsa, all of Tama; and Mrs. Gary Parezick, Gillman.Following a wedding trip to Osage Beach, Mo., in the Ozarks, the couple will be at home at 501 Shoquoquon.A 1969 graduate of Burlington high school, the bride is employed by Burlington Basket Co. The bridegroom, a 1966 graduate of Tama high school, is employed by J I Case Co. evangelistic team in differentchurches.
