The fitted bodice was fashioned with a scoop neckline, long tapered sleeves, and accented with a satin bow at the front waist line. Her silk illusion shoulder length veil was caught and secured by a jeweled crown. For jewelry the bride wore a pearl earring and necklace set which was a gift from the bridegroom. She carried a white cascade of roses.Attending the bride were her sisters. Mrs. Richard Haas as matron of honor. Miss Barbara Barkman, bridesmaid, and Deana Bark-rnnn was junior bridesmaid.The matron of honor wore a gown of apricot silk organza over taffeta, matching shoes, a pearl and earring set which was a gift from the bride,and carried carnations Thebridesmaid wore a gown styled like that of the matronof honor but in turquoise and the junior bridesmaid worewhite organdv dress andtnrniioise sashaaJames Becker attended hisbrother as best man Groomsman was Delbert Pinter, and ushers were Clifford Bill andIJovd LawrenceAfter the ceremonv a reception was held in Van Orin school with 200 attendingWhite chrysanthemums a cMR AND MRS BERYL F BECKERAnderson, Mendota. Kitchenhelp consisted of, chairman', Mrs. LeCharles Matson who was assisted by Mrs Martin Ultch, Mrs. Allen Cass, and Mrs. Donald FngelThe new Mr and Mrs. Becker left for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. For travel the bride chose a blue knit two piece suit, white accessories, and a corsage from her wedding bouquet.The former Miss Barkman is a graduate of LaMoille high school and Sterling School of Beauty. She presently operates Jan’s Korner Kut and Kurl Beauty shop, LaMoille Mr Becker, a graduate of Moille high school, is the manager of E.W Houghton Elevator LaMoille.Escorted by her father to an altar illuminated by a candelabra and adorned with white snapdragons and chrysanthemums, Miss Janice Kay Barkman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Barkmon, Ohio, was given in marriage to Beryl E. Becker, son of Mrs. Raymond Chambers, LaMoille, and Mr.Elmer Becker, Mendota.cented the base of the wedding cake while crystal can-delabras illumined it Cutting cake was Mrs James Becker who was assisted by Mrs. Robert Edwards, Elgin.
