MISS ANN PEGRAM TO WED NEWEngagement of Miss Ann Pegram to Don Ballard of New Braunfels was announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Pegram, at a tea last Saturday in the Pegram home.The marriage will take place May 30 in Menard Methodist Church.The 50 guests at the tea were greeted by Miss Pegram, her mother and Mrs. Josephine Ballard, mother of the bridegroom to be.Mrs. Kenneth Cleveland of Sonora. sister of the bride-to-be,registered guests.The tea table was covered with an imported linen cut work cloth centered with an arrangement ofaqua and white carnations, whiteMAN MAY 30Out-of-town guests were Mrs. J. E. Lucas of New Braunfels and Mrs. Bonnie Hawk of Stockdale, sister of the bridegroom-to-be.Miss Pegram is a graduate of Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos with a bachelor degree in education. She has taught this year in the Menard Junior High School.Ballard also is a graduate of Southwest Texas State TeachersCollege with a bachelor of science degree in education. He has done graduate work at the University of Texas in Austin and is presently teaching at Connally Highin Waco. Hebells with burning white tapers and appointments of silver and crystal. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. Norton Lacy, Mrs. C. R.
