Ruby Miene MarriesLeroy Foels Sunday.►Miss Ruby Miene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Miene, Luana, and LeRoy Foels, son of Mr, and Mrs. Albert Foels, of Postville,. were united in marriage Sunday immediately following the church service in St. Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. F. R. Ludwig performed the double-ring ceremony before the altar in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The church was decorated with assorted flowers for the occasion.Mrs. F. R. Ludwig presided at the console and played nuptialmusic throughout the ceremony.Charles Hoth, sang “Oh, Perfect Love, and Miss Ramona Meyer sang “The Lords Prayer” during the service.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in a white Skinner bridal satin wedding dress, with full skirt and senior train. The round neckline and yoke, both front and back, was of nylon marquisette, embroidered with tiny seed pearls. The long sleeves .came to a point at the wrist and were edged with tiny satin buttons. The fitted waist had a row of tiny buttons down the back. Her fingertip veil was of Juliet net edged with a beaded tiara. Her only jewelry was a double strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. She carried a bridal bouauet of calla lilies, white rosesof the bride, was flower girl and was attired in a white floor-length gown of net over satin with a ruffle at the hemline. J5he wore a Julietnet veil edged with lace and held in place with a crown of pink rosebuds. She carried a white crocheted basket with red and white roses and ferns, and white satin streamers, and scattered rose petals in the bride’s path to the altar. She wore a gold lavelliere, a gift of the bride.Little Harlan Dean Foels, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring-bearer and carried the rings on a white satin pillow with satin ruffle. Topped with four roses from which fell streamers at each side of white, pink, blue and orchid satin ribbons. He wore a suit of a two-tone brown and red rose bouttonniere.William F. Miene, brother of the bride attended the bridegroom as best man.The ushers were Alvin Lenth, cousin of the bride, and Willard Sander, cousin of the bridegroom. :The bride’s mother wore a navy blue dress with white accessories, and a corsage of red and white roses and sweet peas tied with pink satin ribbons.The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy blue suit with hat to match and a corsage of red and white roses and sweetpeas tied with pink ribbon.A dinner was served to 54 guests at the bride’s home after the ceremony.
