Wagoner is again engaged at his old trade, blacksmithing, at the same old stand.Wm. T. Simpson and wife, of Rush-ville, were down at uncle Aris T. Wagoner's on a visit.Marion Owens was appointed as administrator of the estate of Richard Boling, deceased.Elijah Vernon commenced work last week on the farm for Marion Harcourfc, for the present season.Wm. Toll and wife, of Kentucky, are out here settling the estate of Mrs. Toll's father, Alexander Ross.Abe Alter has bought himself a full-blooded Jersey cow, from near Rush-ville. Abe thinks she is a daisy.Perry Boys has been doiug a large amount of tile ditching in these parts this spring. Perry knows how it isdone.Alexander Latta and wife have sold their farm (the old Dr. Daniel Tevis homestead) of 80 acres, to Lafayette Peck, for $65 per acre.There will be a sacramental and two days’ meeting held at Ebenezer church on Saturday and Sunday, May 2d and 3d, by the pastor of the St. Paul circuit, Rev. J. F. McClain.There was a big dinner given to Mrs. Nancy Hungerford by her relatives on Sunday, April 5th; a large number (over 100) being present. All fared sumptuously and enjoyed the occasion.111
