Rawlings and Theresa Sorensen Rawlings on the occasion of their Diamond Wedding AnniversaryThey were married in the Salt Lake Temple on April12, 1916 Henry was 83 years of age just f«i}r days prior to this anniversary The children include Mrs ✓-Granville E Barlow(Edith) of Lewiston,Utah,Glen S Rawlings of Fair-view, Wendell H Rawlings of Fairview, Mrs Blaine J Lemmon f Gladys) of San Mateo, California, Ben E Rawlings of Salt Lake City, Mrs Clair Fullmer (Janet)of Kaysville, Utah, Mrs Ruth Nash of Bountiful, Utah, Richard S. Rawlings of Fremont, Calif., Henry H Rawlings, Jr. of Los Vegas, Nev.All living brothers and sisters were present with the exception of Elna Gilbert of Virginia, Idaho, who was unable to attend due to ill health His deceased wife is Rawlings* eldest sister, Lottie.Attending were Mrs Merlin Rawlings lt;Erma) of Fairview, Mrs Oscar Rawlins (Navella) of Fairview; Mrs Ervin Rawlings (Anna) of Salt Lake City, Mr and Mrs Levere Juchau (Elda) of Logan, Mrs LaRue Campbell of BoiseThe one sister and twobrothers of Mrs Rawlings included Mrs Clara Peterson, Mr and Mrs Conrad Sorensen and Mr and Mrs Harold Sorensen all of Salt Lake City The gathering was at the Fairview residence of the honored couple The group of30 were—seated together at the long table attractivelv decorated and centered with a wedding cake Following a meal, the group joined in singing a few favorite songs selected by the honored couple Gifts and tributes were then present ed The balance of the afternoon was spent in reunion The complete group had not been together like this since more than eight years ago, at the marriage of Richard in the Oakland TempleKim SmithHonored At MoscowKim Smith, a speech majorat the University of Idaho at Moscow, received severalawards at the um\orsitv*recentlyThe son of Mr and Mrs Dell W Smith, Preston, he received a merit citation for distinguished service— one of 15 students to get the awardHe was also chosen one of 23 outstanding seniors during Parents Weekend recently and was one of 45 named to the Blue Key men's service honorary on April 10.MR* AND MRS.
