C. M.1 c Noack at St. Peter’s Lutheran church v at 7:30 o’clock. The bride ushered by \ her eldest brother, W. E. Meier, looked charming in her gown of white Liberty satin, trimmed writh silk lace and chiffon; her veil was of tulle and v lace cap, carrying a shower bouquet of sweet peas and lillies of the valley. She was attended by her friend, Mrs. Albert Knuth as matron of honor,' vdressed in blue organdie and who ,vwore a corsage bouquet of pink roses. v The bridesmaids were Miss Phoebe sMensching and Miss Emma Kehe,dressed in yellow organdie and car- j c rying bouquets of yellow jonquills; ( Miss Selma Meier anl Miss Alma 01- ^ denburg, dressed in pink organdie ^ and carrying pink tulips.. The groom « was attended by his brother, Mr. t Henty Holste as best man. i (Dorothy Kreft and Loretta Meier, , nieces of the bride, were flower girls and dressed in white net over blue ] silk, carrying baskets of pink sweet lt;peas and little white daisies. After • the ceremony the bridal party was ] conveyed to the home of the bride, where a nice wedding supper was had, only near relatives and friends were present.Many beautiful and useful presents were received. The groom is one of our war heroes, serving in the first division, in the field ammunition. The j happy couple will make their home with the bride’s father.
