The couple’s children presented them with a Caribbean cruise.The couple were married April 10, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.Lewis is retired from Peter Levin Pontiac in Chicago Heights.The former Earlene Ruffins, Mrs. Lewis is a homemaker.The couple are active members of Christ Temple #2 in Ford Heights. They are also members of AARP.Children of the couple are Gloria Turner of Chicago Heights, Pauline Sopson of Chicago Heights, Collar of Park Forest, Bernice Lewis of Park Forest, Barbara Watson of Richton Park, Larry of Ford Heights, Pearlie Eatman of East Chicago, Ind., and Jimmie of Woodstock.The couple also have 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
