COOKLE-SMITH — Mrs. Geraldine Cookie of Forest Grove., Ore., and Francis D. Cookie of Kiel announce the engagement of their daughter. Miss Diane Marie Cookie, to John Vernon Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smith of 1823* 14th St., Two Rivers. Miss Cookie was graduated in 1972 from Mishicot Community High School and is a 1973 graduate from the derk-typist course at Lakeshore Technical Institute-Manitowoc. She is employed as a mail clerk at Paragon Electric Co., Two Rivers. The future groom was graduated in 1972 from Manitowoc Lutheran High School and is a foreman at Manitowoc Farm Co, Newton. A September wedding is beingplanned.
