■?ARLY CITIZENS — George Deishley, son ot Gext lope and Susan Saters Deishley, was born in Logan In 1847. He was educated at the Union School in Logan, and at an early age earned wages to help i support his family. After he came of age he worked as a laborer and a railroad section hand until 1875, when he was elected village marshal of Logan. He was married in 1869 to Miss Sarah Applegate, and they were the parents of three children.
