Joan Vitale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vitale of Chicago and Milton Wordelman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wordelman of Riverdale were united in marriage Saturday, March 31 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Columbanus Church in Chicago.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was lovely in her gown of white satin with its1 long train. The bodice was of lace which cascaded down the back of the gown to the train. Her fingertip veil was held in place by a lace tiarra and she carried a bouquet of white roses.All of the bride’s attendsnts were dressed in white marqui-, sette with red roses in their hats and carried baskets of red roses. The maid of honor was Catherine Niedermeyer of Riverdale and the bridemaids were Arpieljne Swanson, Charlotte Vitale, cousin of the bride and Dorothy Medicinio all of Chicago. Joellen Hamilton, niece of the groom, served as flower girl and wore a white nylon dress. She carried a basket of flowers petals which she strewed in front of the bride down the aisle.Joseph P e g o r i n in Riverdale was the best man and the ushers included Gerrit Oosterbaan, William Burks and Harold Vitale, brother of the bride, all of Chicago. After the ceremony the bishop blessed the couple and the congregation.The wedding dinner was served at the Woodlawn Gardens and later in the evening a reception was held there.
