STANFORD CLASSMATES HONOR BRIDE-ELECTA luncheon and shower honoring Mary Elizabeth White of Flintridge, bride-elect of Alan Andrews, was given recently in the Ship Room of Huntington Hotel by three Stanford graduates, Suzanne Johnson, Jean McAlpen and Amida Tande. All are former classmates of Betty and lived at Hurlburt House on the row.The luncheon table was bright with yellow roses, jonquils and sweetpeas lighted up with yellow tapers. Places for the guests were marked with cards tied with yellow sweetpeas and matching satin ribbons.Among the guests invited to the affair were many Stanford girls home for Easter vacation and the mothers of the betrothed, Mrs. John Robert White of Flintridge and Mrs. George L. Andrews of Corona del Mar. Also mothers of the three hostesses, Mmes. Alpha J. Johnson, F. R. McAlpin and J. Arndt Tande; the prospective bridegroom’s sister-in-law and sister, Mrs. Robert L. Andrew's ofTaft and Katherine Andrews.Stanford classmates includedJanice Elizabeth Guth, who herself w'ill sson be a bride, Donna Neill and Elizabeth Fish, all of this city; Adrienne Smiley of South Pasadena, Mrs, Colin McKay, (Jackie Milnor), Margaret Sherwood, Lois Millington, Iris Klorer, Nancy and Judy Toll, all of Los Angeles; Joan Fraser of La Jolla, Mrs. F. Baringer Fank (Patricia Brown), Adelaide King, Janet Folly and Genieve McDuffey of San Francisco.☆ ☆
