Anthony Granahan. aged 71, of Chicago. died at the soldiers’ home hospital Sunday morning at 12:4b of bloodpoisoning.Granahan had been a member or the home since April 24. 1908. when he entered from Danville, II!.. where he had been in the national home. For many years Granahan had been a member of the police force of Chicago, where his four children live.Mr. Granahan was a native of Glasgow. Scotland, where he was bom May 9. 1843. He enlisted in Company A, Thirty-eighth Iowa infantry, at Lansing. Dec. 16. 1863. and was discharged Aug. 15. 1865. at Houston, Tea. Mr. Granahan was a widower.
