Rackers, Boessen wedMiss Carla J. Rackers and James N. Boessen were married Saturday in an 11 a m double ring ceremony at St. Stanislaus Church. Wardsville.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Harvey C. Rackers, Route 2. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Boessen, Meta. ,Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of organza over peau de soie The dress was accented with chan tilly lace. Her cathedral length veil was secured to a lace covered capMiss Debbie Rackers, Route 2. was her sister’s maid of honor Bridesmaids were Miss Christy Rackers and Miss Kelley Rackers, both of Route 2, sisters of the bride. Mrs. Mary Wansing and Mrs. Sharon Bax, both of Meta, sisters of the groom, and Mrs. Mary Kay Hoelscher, Route 3.The attendants wore blue crepe gowns accented with ivory lace.Flower girls were Cheryl Boessen. daughter of Mr and Mrs. Kenneth Boessen. St. Martins, and Amy Rackers, daughter of Mr Glenn Rackers, Route 4Ring bearers were Jerry Temmen. son of Mr. and Mrs. William Temmen, Route 4. and Kyle Stockman, son of Mr and Mrs. Francis Stockman, Route 4Kenneth Boessen, St Martin’s served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Donnie Boessen, Marshall Boessen, brothers of the groom. Kenny Libbert. Dave Volmert, all of Meta, and Arthur Hoelscher, Route 3Ushers were Paul Bax, St. Elizabeth, and Harlan Engelbrecht, Henley. Acolytes were Doug Stockman and Mike Rackers. Taking part in the offertory procession were Mrs Gene Pnnger, Nor bert Boessen, Mrs. Gilbert Rank and Robert Mahlan.The reception and dinner were held at the Wardsville Lions Hall. Mrs. Lynn Williams and Miss Debbie Heislen atten ded the guest book Miss Christy Rackers and Miss Kelley Rackers were in charge of the gift table.Assisting generally were Mrs. Paul Brondel, Mrs Robert Odom, Mrs Harry Kliethermes, Mrs. Dick Fischer, Mrs. Steve Heckman. Mrs. Stanley Lueb bering. Mrs. Herman Kempker, Miss Sherry Schrimpf, Miss Gay Rackers, Miss Carla Stockman, Miss Sharon Mertens, Miss Donna Kroll and Miss Lisa Mertens.The couple will reside at Route 2.The bride is a 1973 graduate of Blair Oaks High School She is employed at Blair Oaks High School.
