DOUBLE SHOWER.A most charming event took place at the home of Mrs. E. .H. Michaels on south Grand avenue last evening, when she graciously entertained about forty friends at a delightful miscellaneous shower in compliment to Miss Mary Baehner who will become the bride of Mr. A. S. Muehl-bacher in the near future, and Miss Ruth Kerr, of Indianapolis, whose marriage to Mr. Joseph Pyfrin of this city will be celebrated soon. Pink and white was the appropriate and beautiful color scheme predominating in the decorations. Hearts and cupids dangled from the various chandeliers and doorways and brightened every possible nook and corner about the home. Contests and music were the enjoyable pastimes, the fortunate ones being Mrs. Harold Wright, Mrs. Otto Dudley and Mrs. C. E. Lane. At mid-evening the company was invited into the dining room where the shower gifts were presented the happy bride-elects. Miss Baehner’s parcels were arranged in a pretty pink parasol which! hung from the center of the chandelier, and a charming Dresden box which ornamented the center of the festal board, contained the remembrances for Miss Kerr. The assortment in both receptacles was one of variety and beauty and the delighted honor guests graciously expressed their sineerest appreciation to their friends* for the many lovely gifts. Pink and white predominated in the appointments of the elaborate luncheon, served late in the evening. Miss Mary Louise Kerr, of Cincinnati, was an out-of-town guest.
