Mr. and Mrs. Dale Thumma, Tipton, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Scorpll to Richard Nielsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Nielsen, Brandon. Miss Scorpll Is a senior at the Tipton Christian Day school. Mr. Nielsen is a graduate of the Tipton High school and Is now attending college in Webster City. An August wedding is being planned.
