CASTLE INN IS SOLD TO LUNTIn one of the biggest financial transactions in years, RobertLunt, Put-in-Bay, purchased Mr and Mrs. Roy Webster’s famed Castle Inn” at the nearby island recently. Final consummation of the transaction depends on transfers of beverage licenses to the new owner.Mr. Lunt told The News yesterday that he anticipates no delay in the transfers and that liquor department inspectors already have visited the popular restau-rant-bar-dance hall.Webster's Winery will continue to be operated by Mrs. M. J. Webster for the present.Mr. Lunt, who has been in the cottage rental business at Put-in-Bay for the past eight years, expects to open “Castle Inn” as customary on Saturday, May 2. The former Clevelander plans no change in the operation of the business.
