Ascott-FosterThe wedding took place March 1, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Mount Dennis of Clarice May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sim P'oster of Mount Dennis and William Stephen Ascott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ascott, 7th concession, King. The bride’3 wedding gown was of white satin and lace, with finger tip veil and she was attended by the groom’s sister, Mrs. John Travis as matron of honor. Mrs. Travis wore mauve taffeta, and two junior bridesmaids who were young cousins of the bride, made a pretty picture dressed in yellow taffeta. After a reception which was held at the Club House, Mount Dennis, the young couple left for Detroit. Upon their return from their honeymoon they will make their home in Mount Dennis.The wedding guests from King included the groom’s parents and younger brother, Mr. and Mrs. Ascott and Bobby, Mr. and Mrs.A. Gillham, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Carr, Mr. Stephen Carr, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Hilliard and Mr. Herbert Riddell.
