WENDBLL-HANKINSFormer Madison Boy Marries Pretty Jefferson County School Teacher.J*Mr. Raymond • Wendell, former well knqwn Madison boy, and Miss Urcel Hankins, one the prettiest and most popular of the young teachers in the county, were quietly married at North Vernon yesterday afternoon,after they had given friends the slip here and left on the afternoon train. A brief message from the young couple reported the happy wedding and that they were on their way for a short wedding trip.The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Hankins, prominent residents of Milton township, and is a graduate of the Madison high school of the class of 1914. She has been teaching in the county schools the past two years and had recently closed her classes in .Milton township for the summer vacation. The groom is the manly young son of Mr. Frank Wendell, formerly of this city, now of Alliance, 0. The young man has a fme position as sales manager for Geiger Bros., of Alliance, a gentleman’s furnishing house. After their wedding trip the happy couple will be at home to friends in Alliance.
